We want you to have a pleasant shopping experience and keep coming back for more! As Retro Riviera (RR) is a new online boutique, please keep in mind our policies may be limited, but as we grow, we will strive to be as accomodating as possible. 


The following items are non-returnable unless you receive a damaged item:

  • Returns received in damaged, soiled, washed, altered or worn condition.

  • Free gifts

  • Final sale/Clearance items including swimwear without the sanitary stickers, accessories ie. earrings, bracelets, necklaces, undergarments, tights, socks and cosmetics or any items marked as final sale/clearance. Final sale/Clearance items cannot be returned or exchanged.

  • Shipping cost is non-refundable, unless there was an error in shipping

  • If your item(s) shipped free, the shipping amount incurred to us to deliver your order will be deducted from your refund as long as there was no error or damage with your order. 

  • You have 7 business days from the date of order delivery to contact us to request a return via email (, enter "Return" in subject)
    Once RR has approved your return and issued a Return Authorization Number (RA#), you have 7  business days to send the item(s) back.

  • You are responsible for shipping costs when returning an item(s). ​Please ship with tracking information as we are not responsible for packages lost by shipping carriers

  • All returned item(s) must be sent back to Retro Riviera:
    4712 E. 2nd Street #742, Long Beach, CA 90803 USA.
    If your item(s) is not returned to RR within 30 days after RR acknowledged your return, RR will charge a 10% restocking fee of your item(s). The restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.

  • If your item(s) qualify for a refund, you will receive a refund in the form of original payment or store credit 7-14 business days from the date RR receives your return.  Approved refund item(s) should be without signs of use, wear, wash, perfume, smoke, animal hair, stains, and tears. 

  • If there is a split between store credit and credit card, store credit will be refunded first, then credit card. We will try our best to handle these as speedy as possible. 

  • For international orders, packages must be received within 35 days of the date your order was marked delivered or was attempted to be delivered according to shipment tracking updates.

  • Customs, duties, taxes, return postage and other related charges are the sole responsibility of the customer and cannot be refunded.



Items described as "Final Sale" or "Clearance" cannot be returned or exchanged

  • Due to our small boutique inventory, RR can offer an exchange for size/color/print of the same style ordered, only. Please contact us via email (, enter "Exchange" in subject) or phone (562)343-7077 and let us know what size/color you would like to exchange for.
    You may return your original purchase and follow the return policy above with the exception of refund. 

  • Exchanges are available for orders that ship to the contiguous USA, only.

  • Only one exchange per order is allowed.

  • If the size you requested to exchange for is out of stock when we receive your package, we will notify you and issue store credit.

  • Include a copy of your receipt along with a request for refund or exchange. A copy of email correspondence is acceptable.

  • You are responsible for shipping costs when exchanging an item. Please ship with tracking and issued RA number, we are not responsible for packages lost by shipping carriers.

  • All items must be in their original packaging, if applicable, and in sellable condition.

  • Any worn, soiled, altered, washed or customer-damaged items will be shipped back to you at your cost and no refund issued. If you cannot be reached after 1 week with your provided contact information, your ineligible item will be destroyed.

  • Customs, duties, taxes, return shipping postage and other related charges are the sole responsibility of the customer and cannot be refunded.

We currently send orders via USPS Priority Mail.  USPS Priority Mail includes insurance on packages that are mis-delivered, damaged or lost. If the item was delivered to the address you provided but you never received it, RR is not responsible for replacing the order. Each package includes a tracking number so we can ascertain if the package was mis-delivered or not delivered to the provided address. If the tracking number shows the item was delivered to the address on the order, RR & USPS do not claim responsibility. 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: We currently ship via USPS First Class International Mail.  RR is not responsible for lost or stolen packages with international shipping. We provide you with the tracking number USPS provides, which typically tracks package within U.S., only. 

RR  is not responsible for customs fees, duties, or taxes that are assessed outside the U.S. RR will not issue refund for lost or stolen packages.

Should you need to cancel your order, please contact us IMMEDIATELY at If your order is still processing and has not been shipped, we may be able to cancel your order. If your order has been processed, we will advise you as such and you may follow the return policy above accordingly.
